Mario Lopez Welcomes A Baby Girl!
Mario Lopez and girlfriend Courtney Mazza welcomed their first child, a daughter, Gia Francesca Lopez, in Burbank, California, on Saturday. The baby weighed 6 lbs., 4 oz., and mother and daughter are reportedly doing well.
"We are so overjoyed," Lopez, 36, told Extra. "What an amazing, wonderful and overwhelming experience to welcome our daughter into the world."
The Extra host said he planned to write a book and create a reality show about first-time fatherhood. "There's so much out there for women but not so much for men, and I want to be a very hands-on dad," he said. "I think having a humorous but informative way to tell that story would be great for a show."
Congratulations!

Katie Holmes Has No Plans For A Second Baby
In the October issue of Marie Claire, Katie Holmes reveals that she and Tom Cruise have no plans to expand their family any time soon.
"Maybe in a couple of years, but right now I want to make sure I'm really there for Suri," Holmes, 31, says. "I'm the youngest in my family —- my closest sister is five years older than me, and the next one is nine years ahead of me, so I was a bit of an only child, and I liked it! I liked having all of my mom's attention, and sometimes I think I still do."
Holmes admits it's been hard to strike a balance between her career and motherhood, though she does her best to provide a normal life for her 4-year-old.
"We travel a lot, and so for me, it's keeping a daily schedule for Suri that never changes. We wake up and we do the same thing. She does her chores, if she doesn't get her chores done, I notice she's not really herself. She has to make her bed, she has to take her dishes to the sink, she has to put her clothes in the laundry -- you know, that basic stuff."
The Romantics actress says she learned her parenting skills from watching her own mother in action.
"I try to do what my mom did for me...just spending time with her, making doll clothes and planting in the garden," Holmes says. "When Suri comes to the set, we have art projects, and I just try to keep her busy and inspired."

Danielle Staub Leaves "Real Housewives"
Danielle Staub has officially left the cast of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Bravo confirmed late Monday.
"The reunion was Danielle's last appearance," says Andy Cohen in a blog post of Monday night's explosive part-two of the second season's reunion, in which Staub continued to spar with Teresa Giudice, Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita. (Staub and Laurita shared an awkward hug at the show's conclusion.)
"We thought the hugs were a great way to end two seasons of bitterness between the women." Cohen added.
Fifth housewife Dina Manzo (Caroline's sister) departed the show in the middle of the second season after constantly fighting with Staub. "I would say 99.9 percent is because of Danielle [Staub], but the other .1 percent was drama created by her," she said in June.
Danielle, 48, is a divorced single mom of two daughters. This year she released her memoirs The Naked Truth as well as her debut single, "Real Close."
Buh-Bye!!
